Do you travel?

I am a huge fan of traveling! If you’re thinking about having me photograph your family or tying the knot anywhere outside of Kentucky or the United States, I’d love to talk with you! Some of my favorite American destinations have been Southern California, Joshua Tree, and Seattle. I’m thrilled that I’ve gotten to photograph in such beautiful, unique places. I can’t wait to add to it!

Can I get styling assistance? I don’t know what to wear!

Absolutely. One of my favorite parts of this job is helping people make the most out of their photo experience! We can work with your personal style within a budget and find the perfectly curated outfits, or we can style something together already in your wardrobe. Either way, I’ll make sure you feel great about how you’ll look! (This goes for weddings, too.)

I can’t afford to pay the whole price of a session or wedding coverage right away. What kind of payments do you offer?

A 30% non-refundable retainer + contract are required to book with me - portrait sessions or weddings. The remainder is due one month before your wedding, one week before your session. If you still need assistance, let’s talk about it in person. I’m super understanding and willing to work with you!

So, what’s your deal?

I’ve been a wedding photographer since I graduated high school. I started out following the trends, focusing on a curated portfolio, and ultimately got sick of that. Now I focus on the moments. Yes, I photograph details, but I’m not going to miss an emotional moment on your wedding day for more photos of your invitations. If you want a photographer that focuses on the editorial, detail-oriented side, I can connect you with that kind of photographer! Like I said, I’ll shoot them, but that’s not my focus. I’ll totally do traditional family photos if you’d like them - I know how often the family gets together and it’s important to document that. I love the real stuff. “That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars over the fence, world series kind of love.”

How long until I receive my full gallery of images?

Editing a full portrait gallery may take up to 3 weeks. Weddings may take up to 2 months to finish editing. Both of these estimated timelines are dependent on a lot of factors: from how many sessions/weddings ahead of yours, time spent shooting other sessions, + travel. I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop the best I can!

Do we have the option to add a second shooter for our wedding?

Yes! I have some amazing second shooters in my corner. We’ve each worked multiple weddings together and truly vibe off one another.

How much experience do you have?

In 2019, I’ll have just booked my 60th wedding since starting wedding photography my senior year of high school in 2012.

Where can I get my photos printed?

I offer fine art, archival prints, which may be seen here.
Otherwise, I recommend www.mpix.com for consumer, fair-priced, quality prints. I wouldn’t say never print your photos at Walmart, but please don’t print your photos at Walmart.
