I feel so hard for my 2020 couples who have had to make sacrifices and changes this year. Whether you’ve changed venues, trimmed the guest list, or postponed altogether, my heart goes out to you! Kara and George faced their own bouts of changes during the course of the pandemic. Ultimately, all of my couples have proceeded with caution, and these two were no different. They did everything they could to still celebrate and do it responsibly. It was such an honor to get to hang out with them, celebrate with them, and be by their side photographing the entire day. You may recognize some familiar faces in the bridal party — I’ve done about half of their weddings now lol. 😂
The day was absolutely magical and this private residence where the wedding took place was just barely shy of being a small museum. There was an original Picasso painting in the dining room, vintage and original to the house wallpaper that was an intricate piece in and of itself, some king’s chair, a Pope’s cloak, and soooo much more I’m sure I didn’t even realize. It was fun just to look around this place and take it all in! And Kara’s dress felt like a piece of art hanging in the stairway when I was taking detail shots. :)
Here’s a list of the incredible vendors who came together to make this day special for Kara and George:
