Oh, heyyy. I'm back!! I'm sounding like a broken record on here, but blogging has seriously been neglected in my workflow this year! I guess when you get down to it, you get done what is most important first, and to me, that's putting out really good work. I've been shooting a lot, meaning I've been editing a lot and I'm loving every minute of it!
Maddie and Blake's wedding was the first of 2019 and I'm super stoked to get it up on the blog. (This was the biggest wedding I've ever shot - their final gallery is over 1,200 images!) This wedding truly meant a lot to me. Maddie, the bride, and her family had been close friends of my in-laws for many years. (Maddie's mom was in my mother in law's wedding, and my father in law is the officiant in this wedding!) When Maddie and her mom asked me to photograph the wedding, I was instantly excited about each and every detail the day would bring.
The day came and it was full of sweet moments. This bridal party was absolute perfection and everyone at the reception was just so excited to celebrate Maddie and Blake. These two danced the night away in their full-on wedding clothes, resulting in some of the most epic reception photos out there. I love how real my clients are and how they feel like they can be themselves, even when there's a camera. Moments > details, y'all. When you get down to it, that is what really matters.
